Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still buy a Horn 8090 or 8080?
A very limited number remain at select dealers as of early 2026 — mostly in specific colors. Once they're gone, they won't be made again. If you want the 8090 or 8080 specifically, contact us and we can check on availability. Otherwise, the 9100 and 9000 are the direct replacements and in our opinion, meaningfully better.
Will my sewing machine still fit in a 9000 series cabinet?
Yes. Horn kept the same 31" × 15½" universal machine cutout on all 9000 series models — the same opening that fits the Brother Luminaire, Baby Lock Solaris, Janome M17, and most other large machines on the market today.
Are Horn's custom acrylic inserts still available for 9000 series cabinets?
Yes — Horn makes machine-specific acrylic inserts for the 9000 series, custom-cut to fit your exact sewing machine model. They're ordered separately and take 4–6 weeks to manufacture. We sell them on our site as an add-on.
How are Horn cabinets shipped?
Horn ships direct from their West Virginia factory via LTL freight. Curbside delivery is standard; in-home delivery is available for an additional fee (not available to all zip codes). Cabinets arrive assembled — you only need to attach the casters.
Do Horn cabinets come with a warranty?
Horn of America offers a limited lifetime warranty on their cabinets. They're made in the USA from MDF with a melamine mar-resistant and water-resistant covering, with soft rounded banded edges to protect your fabric.
